Title: Rosey 9-10 Apr
Post by: IAMMAC on April 12, 2021, 09:50 AM
I pre-fished for the tournament by myself since Bobby wasn't coming up until later that day.  Fished the salt end coves on the North side and only boated one Crappie and it wasn't until 1230.  Was debating whether or not to even enter the tournament.   :lol_hitting:

Started as boat # 6 in a very well ran LTF tournament.  Bobby, his daughter Haley and I were were off by 0600 and headed back to the coves I had fished the day before.  Beating the banks by slow rolling 1/16 oz jig heads with just about every color in the boat we picked up 7 crappie and only 6 of which were over the 10" limit. We weighed in at about 1400 and luckily came in 3rd place for the tournament and got our entry fee back.  Bonus for the trip was that I caught 3 of those crappie using my new livescope set up.  It will be interesting this fall for sure!

What was your total weight? We also fished in the LTF crappie event but I haven't seen the final results I think we may have been second place but we left for home right after we weighed in. .
Thanks
