Title: Roosevelt Saturday 10/30
Post by: apenland01 on November 02, 2021, 04:04 PM
Fished with a buddy from 11am-3pm on the North side out from Schoolhouse using minnows.  Not a single bite from anything.

The store in Globe that sells minnows was shutdown with tape and fencing all around, so we ended up having to drive back to Tonto 188 to get minnows.  They had a cash special of 5 dozen for $20.  By the time we got back and launched it was later than we hoped.  I don't know if it was high pressure or what, but we spot hopped and fished from 10 feet to 50 feet....

My buddy that I fished with died of Covid this last Thursday at a hospital in Phoenix.  He wasn't even sick when we crappie fished the day before Halloween.  Unbelievable how quick it was.

We fished Saturday, he started feeling sick the following Wednesday, went to the hospital in Phoenix on Monday and dead on Thursday morning.

Take care of yourselves people!

Alf
