Title: Nice Tip
Post by: Onetime on June 17, 2024, 06:30 PM
Just passing along a nice tip to anyone who might be interested in upgrading their seats.

Found a good deal on "Millenium" type seats for only $75.00 each. Haven't used them to fish with yet but they are light in color, adjustable, and pretty comfortable to sit in.

Bought them through Walmart of all places. And no, I don't get anything out of this just passing along a good deal.

Used mine for the first time at Bartlett two weeks ago. Was very impressed with the back support. Others in the past felt like they were going to break at some point when leaning back, especially in choppy water.

My post height is 13" plus 2" or 3" of spring and base mount. Makes it easier on the knees to sit in and stand up as opposed to the 11" post. They sit a little too high with taller seat post for an average 6ft guy.

Worth mentioning; most base mounts have a 3° or 4° tilt to them; this seat has a 3° offset. Mounting them low side to high side will about level this seat out.
