Title: Roosevelt Bobcat Boat Ramp Out of Service
Post by: OneBlade on September 03, 2024, 08:30 PM
From the Tonto National Forest supervisor's office:
I've been requested to announce that the boat dock at the Bobcat boat ramp in Windy Hill at Roosevelt Lake is currently out of service. An update will be provided once the repairs are completed.

Best regards,

G and F used to have a crew that would go out and fix docks, cables etc. and quite quickly and that group is gone so it may be a while before TNF can hire a contractor to do repairs

Is Ringtail boat ramp accessible? If not what other ramps near Windy Hill are available?

Windy hill is open. And thanks to power of my 50HP Mercury, the floating dock is now back into position instead off in the rocks and trees. They were trying to move it with ratchet straps, but didn't have any leverage, so I offed and they said sure.
