Title: At Roosevelt 2/22 - 3/8
Post by: abow on February 12, 2025, 09:07 AM
I'll be at Roosevelt 2/22 - 3/8 @ Cholla Campground.

Will be fishing most afternoons during the week and all weekends if anyone wants to fish.

Will post a report once there.

Hit or Miss seems to be the story of this week so far.

10 + mostly nice ones Sunday in Tonto end, with a few around Windy Hill
Other days have been much slower.
Seems like mid-morning / noon is the good bite.
Lots of big fish, and they're moving around a lot, only finding them on trees maybe 30% of the time.

Water temp in some coves is already 62, 56 or so in the main lake. Spawn is coming soon - if not already, I haven't fished the salt end yet.

With this weather, it may be closer to 60 by the weekend though.
