From Park Manager Drew at Alamo lake:
12 noon on Wed April 2nd is the earliest they can go into the  group area - if they arrive earlier they will incur a day use fee of  $10.00 for 1 person in the vehicle or $20.00 for 2 or more persons in  the vehicle.  Camping passes they purchase expire at 12 noon on the date on the pass.  If they want to stay late in the park (out of the  group area) they can purchase an additional day use pass for a later departure.

Wow, we had a lot of businesses and AZCA members come through for this weekend's raffle at our Spring Crappie Fest at Alamo Lake (link in comments) to provide over $900 in value for prizes.  Thank you to Liar's Korner Bait and Tackle for donating a Shimano Miravel 1000 reel and an ACC Crappie Stix 8ft Spinnin' rod.  And thank you to AZ Crappie Sniper Guide Service for getting the 2 BnM Diamond Series 8ft rods and a sweet Canyon Cooler.   We also had donations by Get Out and Fish (Richard Johnson) for some great crappie sniper jig sets, as well as some high quality products made/provided by AZCA members Mudshark Marine, Cameron's Custom Jigs, AZ Lead Works.  Hope to see you all at Alamo Lake State Park this weekend for some crappie fishing - weather is looking great and the crappie fishing will be on fire!!
