Title: Roosevelt July 20, 2025
Post by: FishMan on July 20, 2025, 03:52 PM
Fished out of my boat today with Matty "One Blade". Left Mesa at 3:45am, with a first light launch, and a safe light take off. It was cloudy and windy all day, nice consistent 1-2 footers all day long, but everything was consistent direction and tempo, so we used it to our advantage. Water level 42' down from full pool, so had to go find all new waypoints to mark. Many of the game and fish structures are now in perfect depth. We caught 80 +/- fish's of various species at almost every location we went. Most everything was 20-40 FOW, with most on structure and others open water pick offs as they were chasing Shad. Matty primarily used platics/hair jigs, used my go to 1/32 jig head, with 1/8th of a piece of crawler.
