Being very new at this crappie thing, wanted to know if nibblets were a good thing? Before I go buy some are there certain colors and brands that work better than others?

i used to use the little maggots? or something smaller when i didnt have minnows. they worked realyy good at sc during the bite.

Fishing in the Northwest where minnows are not legal we used the niblets all the time, there was a significant difference. I still have several jars in my boat. Have not tried them out here but now you have my interest peaked and I think I will dig them and throw them away and get some fresh ones to try.
