on the rocks

Marvin & I decided to get a jump on SCF this weekend so jumped in the truck at 3 am and picked him up and headed for Rosie. Got to Kilmers @ 5:30 with 5 boats in line for minnows. Everyone saying straight across from Grapevine was the place to be as not a ton of crappie being caught but 6-8 per boat and nice 2+ lbrs. Well alright we are all over that. launch at 6:00 and head accross the lake not one boat  :wtf:  anyway we dragged about everything until 10:00 not a bite headed to Windy Hill same ole story the red graveled area (not sure what is is called) still nothing went to Salle Mae and guess what yeah you got it not a bite. So decided to head to the end of the salt end tied up in trees in about 14' water bobber fishing about 9' down and guess what you got it Toyaota NOT A BITE. Talked to 10 differant crappie boats no body had a bite all day long. You would think that this would make me feel better NOT Water temp 59-65 degrees differant times of day and locations little to no wind over cast with sun peeking through on occassion Ended the day with 1 dink bass 20 yards from the dock cuz Marvin bet me a dollar he would catch the first fish and would not let me off the boat until he had it in is pocket. Team On the Rocks is not going to be a threat to anybodies money yet again this year.

dont sell yourself short on the rocks, god allready beat u to it. and dont be discouraged ya got rosied. its a badge of honor. to be able to go there with a postive attitude, to meet up with good folks all postive attitudes at the bait shop, to get on the water with bright sunshine smiles, and then to work your ass off, trying everything thats allways worked before.... and get frickin rosied. truly to going there again is, im declaring, not the definition of stupidity, where u do the same thing again and again expecting different results, but the ultimate in stoic sacrifice too... well too... too the crappie gods thats who. and thats good enough. so wear that rosied badge with pride my brothers ive got lots of rosied badges. and im going back soon. really i am, never mind my reservations at alamo. i want to get rosied. i look forward to it. ugh!

Crowbait

Team crowbait looks to be in full force with boat name "team ramrod" this year. The buzz on Rosey has been inflated for 5 or 6 years now. Aside from the man "art" SCF is wide open. Haven't fished in years but I believe I may or may not catch a crappie. Can't wait to see you all.
