Just an update to all of you that have an I Pilot Link. I tried to get a replacement battery at Batteries PLus, but they wouldn't touch it due to liability issues. Called Minnkota customer service, and for just under 10 dollars one is being shipped to my house. Here is the number 800 227 6433.
SEA.....HAWKS....

I have read where others have had weird things happen with their Terrova but mine has been flawless right out to the box. Bought it spring of 2013. I have owned boats for over 40 years and guided for near 15 of those, the Terrova is the second best piece of equipment I have ever spent money on, number one being good electronics. (that is with the exception of the boat and rods/reels) but to add to the pure ease and joy you of fishing and making time on the water more enjoyable, it has to be number one! Did I say I love my Terrova!! ;D

and I hate my Terrova, but there again everyone has their own use for equipment etc.

I could see where if you are bank fishing and casting/ running with foot control the standard bow mount non-electric steer would be better, it is quicker to respond when turning for sure. I used one for many years, just got tired of the one legged stance for hours but I am 72 and prefer sitting and pushing a button on the remote at this point in life. I see it both ways for sure though.
Bet that Terrova would be really easy to unload!
Genesis 27:3  Now then, get your weapons, your quiver and bow,and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.

it may go soon looking at that new pin point motorguide, still electric drive but "quiet" and fast reacting
