Here's the Walleye count - additional species were caught but I'm not going to keep track of the Smallie, Catfish or Bluegill count.

Saturday - I'll need to follow up on this days catch

Fish Hawk & LLL - 2 Walleye for the few hours we got on the lake

Sunday

Fish Hawk & LLL. - 15 Walleye
Dave, Tom & Wally - 11 Walleye
Mike, Debbie & Matt - 9 Walleye
Jerry & Timbo - 7 Walleye
Mark & Marvin - 3 Walleye (first time ever on the lake)

Holy cow.....thats some some good numbers right off the bat.   Nice Work AZCA crew.  Put Sandman's effort in the future-mix and a 50+ day won't be out of reach.

Stay Safe.

Halibut Warrior

Nice, keep up the good work. Are you running far for them? Have they grown any? Or is it the same size as years past?
Stay safe.

Joe - Warm Springs at mm110 is the farthest anybody went yesterday.
And size is perfect for the frying pan.

This gill sure wanted Billy Ho's spinner rig

Bill's very nice 20 1/2" Walleye

And again this year we're doing the longest Walleye & goon fish competition.  So far we have a couple 20 1/2" Walleye so we'll see........

cool looks like fun, pouring rain here with lightning this morning, Aguila and Wickenburg getting hammered with rain, hope your weather holds out for the week :dontknow:

amazing the walleye was never stocked in Powell just wash down fish from reservoirs up stream and now they are all over the entire lake and doing well :headbang:

 Cousinlll,

What depth and what baits are the best producer? Is Jigs or trolling the best presentation? Any color preference? Or are you finding  a repetition of last year?

My brother and I are getting excited by what we are seeing already. Good luck to all of and be safe.

Keep the reports coming.

Forgive me tonight guys as it was Bill & my evening to cook supper so I don't have all today's numbers as of yet.  I do know it was a tough Walleye day for most. Here's the  numbers I have for today (Monday):

Matt & Marvin 11
Dave, Tom & Wally 3
Kelley & Patti 3
Bill & LLL 3
Mike & Debbie 3
Jerry & Timbo 7

I'll fill in the above numbers tomorrow

Dick:
Bottom bouncing crawler rigs seem to be the ticket. Gold colors for us but I'll ask around. 20 to 30 seems like the depth most are coming at.

time to switch to striper or crappie fishing ;D

Thanks Larry,
Sounds like a rough day for you guys. Been watching the weather.Barometer dropped from 29.80 to 29.70. Not always a good thing, but some of my best walleye fishing was in such weather if you could find them. I have confidence you guys will get some good days yet. My weather shows T storms for you tonight but clearing tonight and a warming trend with partly cloudy and sunny on Thursday. Cooler friday with partly cloudy but no weather. Looks likt the front has moved through.

More question is troll speed .8 mph?or slower???. What is your water surface temperature? Is the water cloudy up by warm creek like last year?

A suggestion, with the cooli air temps and wind, try some jugs or crawlers in shallow water as shallow as 2 feet (casting). I think I missed trying that last year but believe if you have coudy to muddy water, with cool surface temps, you might find them shallow looking for warm water and more active food real shallow.

Just a thought. Remember Brian hit them big time back in the shallows at the end of the canyon in muddy water and no structure. They may be hiding from weather/wind and looking for warm water and active feed.

Keep us posted. Stay safe all of you. I'm rooting for you all.
