I'll be fishing Bartlett this Sat morning with my Dad and Uncle. Anyone on the lake having any questions about the club, be sure to say "hi" and ask away. I'll likely be up lake beyond the no wake bouys early morning, then based on how the bite is, make my way down to the fish habitats. 16 foot v hull tracker with a 9.9 Mercury. Jiggy Jiggy.
When in doubt, set the hook!

Fishless.....wind can't stop me. Launched Yellow Cliffs around 7am and headed up lake to the island beyond the no wake bouys. Drop shot Minowes while casting the 2nd rod with a BBC 1/8 jig. Nothing the first hour, but as the sun came up the bass started to turn on. Caught 20 bass, bluegill, and cats casting to the cliff wall while making our way back to the Nonwake bouys. Around 10:00 started hitting the coves on the way back, picked up another 20 Bass, cats, gills. Then found a nice school of suspended Crappie in about 24 FOW, holding over some brush. Ended with about 15 Crappie, casting BBC on 1/8 jig. And also on the Minowes Rig. It was 50/50 black and Black Nose. Most were in the 1 pound class. Only one small fish, and one pushing just over 2. Lots of fisherman out there. Everyone was fishing bass, except us and a couple on kayaks searching for Crappie. Off the water by 12:15. You guys should slay them next weekend for the November club meeting.

The fish Jeri and I dumped for the DNR were between 3 -10 inches they were Black nose so they had to be the ones you caught . We did dump them in the coves in the north end of the Lake . Curt and his crew dumped them south of the Main ramp.
