Alamo 4/1 - 4/2

My son Dorian and I prefished Alamo on Friday.  We had 3 poles off the front vertical trolling slowly with bare hook with minnows just above the trees and then 1 pole we'd cast a jig into the trees.  We caught 20 crappie on Friday.  Fished Saturday and good start caught 8 fairly quickly and then for us the bite died down from 10am to 2pm we caught maybe 6 more. Average size of ours were 1.2 to 1.7lbs but not enough to win the tournament - we placed 7th overall (9.6lbs for 7 crappie) and 5th for biggest crappie at 1.86lbs.
