Recommendations for Rods for Pontoon boat trolling

I have finally saved enough money to outfit my 22' Pontoon with a MK Powerdrive trolling motor with iPilot and am now trying to decide how to set it up with rod holders and rods.

I am looking for some feedback on what length rods to go with front and back and type of rod holders. From what I gather it's best to get the presentation out away from the boat due to the little buggers being shy, with the fact that I'm a pontoon I'm assuming I would want 12-14' foot poles.

I sure would appreciate any techniques,and information about gear suggestions.
