Menrats, we should figure out boat situation.  I'd be happy riding yours or someone else's boat for this trip instead of taking mine of course paying for gas and supplies as needed.  I'd rather not take both boats up if we can help it.  I could take my boat if needed though.  Freshwater may have room in his pontoon and maybe others do.  Tough to solve this on message board as we are trying to solve lodging situation and boat situation.  Maybe we need to setup a spreadsheet for this one including people attending, where they are staying, what boat they are on, and from there we can see if we have enough to combine folks for a 3rd family unit as well as know what boats have room.  Let me know if you want me to do that.

Per your request Matt .......  See the attached document - tentative & certainly not set in stone!   :icon_jokercolor:

And for those that haven't figured this out by now, it's my middle name: Anal retentiveness: From Wikipedia - The term, commonly abbreviated to anal, is used conversationally to describe a person who pays such attention to detail that the obsession becomes an annoyance to others, potentially to the detriment of the anal-retentive person.   :banghead: :ecomcity: :ecomcity: :ecomcity:   :dontknow:

I called Ralph today and reserved 2 cabins (Trailers) for us, he is checking to see if he can improve on the $150 per night charge. He is giving us to 2 side by side and I asked him to keep a 3rd in reserve across from the 2 cabins in case we need it. He said they do not get busy until June so holding cabins will not be an issue. He'll let me know if the price improves. He said a 26lb and 16lb striper were caught this week in that area. Look out EYES and SLABS, GAME ON!!!!!!!! This is our superbowl of fishing....oh yeah!!!! Can u tell I'm getting a little excited?  :blob1:  :lol_hitting:

Here's the link to a thread for the story of the 28.3 lbs Striper caught by a 13 year old kid:  http://www.wayneswords.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=27&func=view&catid=8&id=49101

That a boy Brian.....  Please let us know if & when we owe you $$.  To throw a monkey wrench in things - I could possibly have an additional husband/wife couple looking for a room - will know for sure in a couple days.

menrats

now any decent event spreadshiit is gunna have whos doin dinner where. im thinking ill pick up a night af elk burgers and dogs for one night at the camp sight probably one of the first nights to save cooler space. with a side of alfredo. we should perhaps put arrival dates on the shiit too. im in sat to sat or tues to sun.
dont screw up like me and pay twice as much for camping this is off season 9 bucks a night not the 18? i paid last time.
whomever gets there first on sat or if someone would score my campsite for me on tues id be in your debt. im pretty sure its no 24 on the northwest corner overlooking the lake and marina. theres two trees there and probably still some leftover valley fever fungus on the picnic table.
matt as to ridn in the hejira with the rats your welcome. indeed cordially invited. however im not a fanatic about being out there at the crack of dawn nor if its too windy. my number one goal is to catch eyes and then to eat them. but im bringing a book or two and may sit a mornin or afternoon out here or there to chill and read. further i would urge you to camp it is overwhelmingly gorgeous
hot water showers, the only downside is if its too windy. there is basically no shelter from the wind or rain for that matter.
yo wheatthin im in for perhaps two evenings of lakeshore campin but am worried that the tinny wouldnt do good rockin on the shore all night. are there decent sandy areas that would protect the boat? are there skunks roamin the usual campin spots? is there maid service to sweep the sand out of my tent each day?

Ralph didn't mention needing a deposit to hold the cabins, just took my name and said we r good to go.
