two burner stove issue

so i finally replaced my coleman two burner propane, not cuz it didnt work but cuz it was so dirty and even sos couldnt clean it any more. so thers a special at sa and i get a new one cheap. anyway it burns so hot i cant turn it down. i cant bleed one off the other and its like they have a tiny spring that will not let me turn it down. wtf? i am never gunna be able to simmer nothin. will this get better with use or should i chuck the pucker now?

What brand/type? Still coleman?  Sounds like you need to call customer support.
