Gave it another shot with Red Mule and things have slowed down a bit. We caught plenty of 2 lb bass but the crappie bite was real slow and very light. Best fish of the day felt like a 30lb flattie but turned out to be a 2 lb crappie that was wrapped in a tree. Was able to get him in the boat after about 10 minutes of battling the branch he was hooked on. The branch broke and he came to the top. A little breezey at times but the weather felt great.
