I fished Bartlett for the last 3 days with my dad.  Monday we boated one crappie and had several bites, then water turned to cold chocolate milk. The water is comming up 3' / day so I wouldn't recomend camping too close to the water line.  I fished everywhere crappie have been known to be, and they are in shock mode.   Hopefully the water settles down soon.  I met DessertRat out there, he had about the same luck we did. The water temp was 55 in the AM and 65 in the PM.  No stagers at all, most fish were graphed at 14-20'.

Fishless

yup lake is coming up about 2+' per day as SRP releases water from horseshoe to fill bartett, should be complete by the weekend. Heard Desert rat had a nice spot to camp on the shore and had to pick up and move quick :dontknow: came back into camp after fishing and his campfire wood was floating and the water near his trailer? lake should pick up quick fishing wise once the lake is full and stable but SRP will probably run water through bartlett for sometime to keep horseshoe lake at a safe level since there is still a bunch of water coming down the verde.

Sure thing Jack.  It was good to meet you as well, I'll tell him you said hi.  I'm thinking of taking my nephew up to Roosevelt for the spring crappy derby, maybe I'll see ya there.
