Not to hijack Matt's other reminder thread - here are a couple of additional reminders:

Mussel Inspection - This is the first thing we do upon arrival.  They are usually located at the RV dump area located on your left as you enter the store/family unit area.  Their hours are 8am to 5pm, assuming that's MDT so that's 1 hour ahead of us.  Remember live wells clean & dry, plug out and lower unit dry.  If unable to get your inspection when you arrive, you'll have to wait until 8am the next day before you can launch.


Then check in at the little store to get your trailer assignment.  If the store is closed, they will post all trailer assignments on the front door.  Units will be unlocked with keys placed somewhere in the kitchen.

I've attached a local map of the Hall's Crossing area for reference.

Do we need to post everybody's cell numbers just in case of issues on the road?  I think everybody has each others numbers anyway? I'll send out a group text when we leave town.

This just in - from wayne's words - change in policy as the National Park Service is discontinuing the mussel inspection requirements prior to launching your boat.  Ramps will be open 24/7 now & the focus will be on clean/dry your boat before putting in on another body of water.
