Bartlett 6/01

Launched at the main ramp about 6pm and headed to cat bay. Fished on top of some trees in about 28 FOW with 3 poles vertical, and one with a slip float with minnows. Caught about 15 palm sized crappie, and 5 nice 1.5 to 2 lbers. Threw everything back to grow up, and left the lake at 12:30.

Good to hear you had good amount of shad around and some smaller crappie that'll grow up and give us some slabs in a year or two.  Thanks for the report.

Thx for report sparkchaser. My buddies and I cant seem to find  them this year. I have caught maybe 5 or 6 all year so far    I am glad to see some are still biting.

The bite was fast and furious as soon as the sun went down until about 9, then it died. We moved around quite a bit looking for more, but could never get back on them before we left. There were so many shad around the lights everywhere we dropped them.
