Kasey had his H.S. tourney here at Roosie yesterday and finished 4th with a 5 fish limit weighing 7.35 lbs. All fish came in 40 feet of water on drop-shot  plus two crappie, one on a Rapala jigging rap and one on a Kastmaster spoon, also on bottom in 40 feet of water! He took in the biggest crappie for goon fish and it weighed 1.45 lbs. but was beat out by a 3.39 carp. I think he is still leading the points after three tourneys. A 2.2 crappie won the goon fish in the Avid Angler division. Our fish came out in front of the picnic area at Vineyard. I heard some people are doing OK on crappie in the Windy Hill area jigging spoons.......  Art

thanks art. what do you think of the club going to a catch and release policy for rosey?

I think it's a excellent idea. Every little bit helps. I just wish I could get people up here to except that idea.........Art
