Fished all day with the bite so so before noon. The two of us picked up about 10. Trolling to target the large females. Males are in bedding areas.Around 3 they went nuts and double hookups were common. We stopped at about 40 since the live well was full and we were fished out. Most bites were on beetle spins at about 8 feet.

Oh, btw. I did catch one large bass which is encouraging since after getting no bites during several previous trips I was convinced the bass didnt survive the drought.
