Got to report the bad with the good! We fished habitat on the Salt from 6:30 until 11:15 and I don't think there are nearly as many fish on them as in the middle section of the lake. We ended up with only 5 crappie, 1 bass, and an 8 lb. plus cat but did map out much habitat for future use. ........Art

As always, thanks for the reports Art. You fish out there a lot more than most, but in my two recent trips I have to say the middle of the lake was better for us as well. In the spring we did really good way up lake on the Salt end, but I haven't had much success there since. Maybe water clarity, as it seems to change around Windy Hill.
