roosevelt was a blast yesterday. 27 crappie & 23 bass mostly off powerbait minnows tipped with crappie nibbles. several crappie over 2lbs 14-15" made my basket filling grind to a halt. fish are coming 6-12" off the bottom in 20-30' of water in schools that are often 10' thick but you gotta get that bait to the bottom. Sometimes they like it moving 1mph and others perfectly still. #killintime
