If your watching the fish and see they dont want to bite the jig, why would you not change to something else.

looks like he had a piece of chicken or something on the hook :dontknow: surprised that one crappie finally fell for it? have seen crappie in clear water do the same thing to a minnow or a grub sometimes they just don't want to eat :o

BBC tipped with a minnow or a drop shot minnow rig would have stayed them!

They sure move a lot slower than I expected.  They're in no hurry to go for the bait.

you would be surprised Matt, have seen that a lot they just come out and grab a bait (thats where I always seem to pull it away from them as they are grabbing it), don't streak out like a striper etc. occasionally they will bolt out and hit a lure
