Hey Guys, just to make sure we're on the same page - your planning on staying in a family unit also correct?

Larry, where do we stand right now...  Don't know if you have another couple lined up with Brian and me, or not...  Brian has a probable to make a third in our boat...

Also, what is the boat situation?  Who all is taking boats, and how much room for passengers do they have...

I think we need to nail some of this down so Brian can get off a hold on however many cabins we'll need...

Don't know about you, but I'm getting stoked for this one...  Let's just hope the weather and fish cooperate like last year...     :3some:

For any that are pondering whether to go or not, I can tell you, we had a blast last year...  More AZCA members can only make it better...  Come on, and jump in...

I am hoping we have decent weather for the Feb meeting at Alamo, and can discuss this a lot further...  I have site C-36 reserved for Thurs-Sun that week, (Feb 10th, I think)...     :dontknow:

Thanks for taking the time to put this together...  We really do appreciate it...    :notworthy:

So as of now, in the first family unit seems like Desert Rat w/ Nana are sharing with Halibut Warrior & his friend Dick.  I believe Matt will also be joining them.  That'll put 1 couple & 3 singles in that family unit.  I think David & Joe are talking more about this today while fishing Bartlett.

Waiting to hear back from Freshwater w/ Merlot Kid as the second couple.  They would then take the second family unit's master suite.

That would then leave Chris, Brian, Brian's friend, Sparkchaser & I to figure out our lodging arrangements.  Rats seems happy in his favorite camp spot, unless he has changed his mind.  Who did I forget........

I'm assuming that Desert Rat & Nana will be in their boat with Halibut Warrior & Dick in Joe's boat.  I'll have mine sharing with Sparkchaser.  Matt & Rats are probably still in negotiations as to who brings which boat.  Freshwater & the Merlot Kid will probably have their pontoon?

Which leads me to ask this question: Anybody have room for a friend of mine & his father for 2 or 3 days?  See reply #36 above.  He has a few Walleye honey holes to share....  Brian, next time you talk with the guy at Halls Crossing would you mind checking into any deals on fishing boat rental rates for 2 or 3 days out of either Halls or Bullfrog.  Thx

Totally agree!  Looks like two family units for now.....

Come on guys, lets fill a third family unit.  It'll be a great time!  Even if you're thinking about a 5 day trip instead of the 7 day trip we're doing - please speak up.  I'm getting stoked as well Chris!

I had replied a few months ago that Kyle and I will be up there.  I don't see us doing a full week and will more than likely camp but I'll confirm with Kyle this week. We will do a 4-5 day trip.

I'm ready to make a call to reserve our cabins, just need to know if it will be 2 or 3 units.

Ok, Freshwater - See the very first post on this thread as I included some links for camping.  http://www.lakepowell.com/rv-and-camping/campground.aspx

You basically have 2 options: The RV Park with full hookups that are located next to the Family Units we've been talking about or the campground which is about a mile or so away from the Family Units.  As for the RV Park, get with wadefisherman as he might have info on the cost & could possibly be able to reserve a RV site for you when he reserves our Family Units.

The campground is a first come first deal (no reservations) with no hookups.  This is where Rats stays so he's more familiar with it & can provide you with more info.
