Me and Willie switched tactic's and fished for stripers, we got to the lake at 2:30 in the am, set up the lights and waited...and waited...and waited...and moved...and moved and moved, it pretty much sucked all morning. Then we went upriver and tried for some top water action. Nothing, Total fish caught were Willie's 3 dinks, I got that skunky smell all over me. I'm glad we didn't spend the whole night on the lake. I need to get to Powell!

thinking of a camping trip to powell in late sept. dont know jack about lake.  thinking of camping 4 nights at hite or bullfrog. any info would be appreciated thx.

Sept is awesome for top water striper action. I 'd be interested in going. I am planning on going the last week of Aug with my bro and some friends we camp out for a week by dangling rope.

I like Sept... but I'm using all my vacation for my elk hunt in September, so I know I won't be able to make anything around then. :-/
