HI AZ Crappie Crew,

I come to AZ in Feb for a National Health Summit in Phoenix.   I would love to try some of your lakes for large crappies.   I have looked over the web and found this site.  I believe you are all in this for the love of catching big crappies as I am.   So I thought I would reach out to you.

Where do I go,

Who do I contact

What can I expect.

I would love to give it a try but need to figure out how to make this happen.  Any help suggestions you can provide is appreciated.   Thanks...MN Dave

Hi Dave,

We are a bunch of hard core Crappie fishermen with a sense of humor. You have come to the right place to make new friends and get in on some great fishing. Just keep in touch on this site and when you get in the area you'll get a back seat with one of us for sure.

Take care, Joe

Alamo can be great in Feb but your best bet would be San Carlos, that is, if there's any water in it by then. Both of these lakes spawn about a month before the other so in Feb you should find aggressive pre-spawn Crappie very shallow. If SC makes it through what's suppost to be a dry winter, you should be able to limit on nice big slabs. Keep in touch.
