I had the same thought - Just didn't want to jinx us.  My Mom had a small freezer & was thinking of making it my official Lake Powell fish freezer....

We need to start firming things up for this trip on who's wanting to come and get some commitments on reservations on the cabins and who's stayin with who as well as boats or pairing up people. Was wondering if we could get a lake Powell thread added in the forums?

Agree!!!  Dave & I are all in for 7 days.  Assuming David & Nanna are in for 7 days also?  Brian, you guys still in for 7 also & has Willie committed yet?  How about you Joe, have you talked to Dick more about it.

Other question I have is from what day to what day?

Oh, and I know Phaz from The Zone was also interested in this trip when I was talking to him about it a month or so ago.  He wanted me/us to keep him in da loop.  Although given the latest news about him, we might have to wait a bit on that.

Ok, so I'm gonna throw this out for conversation....

My friend & co-worker Eric has been going on this trip with us the last couple years.  This time, he's looking for a backseat for both himself & his father and was wondering if anybody might have an open couple seats they would be willing to share.   He's driving his father back home to Missouri & would like to make a stop at Halls Crossing to fish with his father.  Given that he's driving from Powell to Missouri afterwords, he'll be unable to take a boat. 

Eric already has his own accommodations & does have a few Walleye honey holes of his own from previous trips to share.  So if there's a solo out there that is interested in going but would like a knowledgeable backseat, please let me know.....

Dave & I have been looking at the calendar & seems like the best dates that work for us are:

Departing PHX for Halls Crossing on Saturday, April 27th & returning home on Saturday, May 4th.  That'll give us 6 1/2 or so days of fishing.......

Brian, next time you talk to your contact at Halls Crossing - see if there's anything he can do about boat rental rates reference to my backseat post above.  No sure but it might be for only 4 or 5 days.  Thx!
