I've only been using it for a year now, but really like it. I use the knots in
the back pages of the little book that comes with the line. If you go with a
braid line make sure you keep a wood handle of some sort on your boat
to pull snages out.

For trolling I have used 20# for about 2 years and love it. KNot are no problem, just leave a little more on the tag end because it will slip a little at first.

I still use Berkley Fireline for trolling but use the Power Pro hi-vis gold 10/2 for verticle presentations. I use a double palomar knot for Fireline and Power Pro and a Jansick knot for flurocarbon. Rambo uses PP hi-vis gold 5/1 for his verticle fishing (that's all he does)..........Art

Wally,

Give me a call sometime and tell me about the trip out with Ron. I'm almost out of smoked Red. Man, did'nt realize how much I missed that stuff.
Anyway, I been using 15lb Hi-Viz Yellow Power Pro with a 4ft mono leader w/jigs bloodknotted on for trolling and I like it alot. No more twisted memory w/ the small spools. Get hung up, just loose the mono...most the time the bottom hook. Plus you can mark the line every 5ft w/ a magic marker for calibration. The stuff even casts really well, specially with the 10ft Wally Marshal.

Say Hi to Karen for us. If Steven's still there say hey.

hmmm, Maybe I'm always doing this wrong! I use P-Line Fluorocarbon or Fluoroclear in 6lb for casting and 8lb for trolling. It's always worked out great for me.

im a fouro dude too 8 lb seager used to use 12 lb transition in red still like it, but the 8 lb transition in gold freekin shreds ater about 6 mos. no real warning just lose a fish on a break and check, shredded. so im trying seager. it seams stiffer than trensition.

Rty the Seagar Red Label. Its thin, limp and cheaper than other fluros
